Though my formal titles are calligrapher, hostess, and designer, my true passion lies in crafting heirloom pieces that beautifully narrate your story. These are the keepsakes you'll cherish and proudly show to your grandchildren one day.

How BND Began...
...because by day, I'm a project manager to a fast-paced AI startup
So how did I get from a Marketing degree at UT Austin, to tech, to calligraphy?
When I first began learning hand-lettering and basic calligraphy in high school, it was a hobby: an affordable way that I could make custom artwork for my dorm room.
After getting a job in tech, I continued my creative lettering hobby. The popularity of calligraphy has blossomed in recent years, and I believe the best of the best will always be made by hand.
I created every piece of signage at my own wedding, and then...
...BND was born!
I take a collaborative approach to every project, working closely with my clients to understand their needs and vision.
I work with clients for weddings, showers, dinner parties, corporate events, and even take custom commissions on occasion.

+ You won’t catch me without my Oura ring and my Apple Watch, gotta track those sleep and activity stats!
+ I went to the University of Texas at Austin, and I never left! I still live just outside the city with my husband, Matt.
+ My favorite color is perwinkle – it's very similar to the BND blue, but maybe a little more purple!
+ Calligraphy isn’t my only love – any excuse I get to bake a cake or pastry and I will take it.
+ If I’m on a Netflix binge, it’s probably a true crime doc, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, or Gilmore Girls
+ I love my church, The Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, TX. Jesus changed my life at 7 years old, and my relationship with Him is part of everything I do.
