How BND Began...
...because by day, I'm a project manager at a fast-paced AI startup.
So how did I get from a Marketing degree at UT Austin, to tech, to calligraphy?
When I first began learning hand-lettering and basic calligraphy in high school, it was a hobby: an affordable way that I could make custom artwork for my dorm room.
After beginning a career in tech, I continued my creative lettering hobby. The popularity of calligraphy has blossomed in recent years, and I believe the best of the best will always be made by hand whether with ink or a digital pen.
I created every piece of signage at my own wedding, and then...
...BND was born!
I take a collaborative approach to every project, working closely with my clients to understand their needs and vision.
I'd love to create pieces for your wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, dinner party, or corporate event. I even take custom commissions on occasion. 😉

+ I went to the University of Texas at Austin, and I never left! I still live just outside the city with my husband, Matt.
+ My favorite color is periwinkle – it's very similar to the BND blue.
+ Calligraphy isn’t my only love – any excuse I get to bake a cake or pastry and I will take it.
+ If I’m on a Netflix binge, it’s probably a true crime doc, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, or Gilmore Girls.
+ I love my church, The Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, TX. Jesus changed my life at 7 years old, and my relationship with Him is part of everything I do.
