Terms & Conditions - Bailey Nicole Design

Welcome! These Terms & Conditions outline the policies for working with Bailey Nicole Design. By booking services or purchasing products, you agree to the terms below.


1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable retainer ($250 or 50% of the total project) and a signed contract are required to reserve your date.
     
  • Work begins only after both the signed agreement and retainer are received.
     
  • The remaining balance is due after you approve mock-up designs but before final production starts.
     
  • Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a $50 late fee plus 1% interest per day.
     
  • Package Changes: You may upgrade your package at any time with written approval, but downgrades are not allowed after booking.
     

2. Cancellations

  • All cancellations must be in writing via email, and you are responsible for confirming receipt.
     
  • More than 30 days before the project start: The retainer and any payments made are kept, but no further balance is due.
     
  • Within 30 days of the project start: The retainer and payments are kept; you may owe for any work or materials purchased.
     
  • After work begins: All payments are non-refundable, and you agree to pay for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
     

3. Rescheduling

  • If you reschedule, the retainer and any payments made are forfeited. A new contract at current pricing is required to book a new date.
     

4. Final Approval

  • Work on final products begins only after you give written approval of mock-ups and pay the remaining balance.
     
  • Once approved, Bailey Nicole Design is not responsible for any errors missed during your review.
     
  • Delays of more than 5 business days in approving mock-ups may result in contract termination.
     

5. Shipping

  • Shipping costs (including packaging, handling, and insurance) are paid by the client and added to the final invoice.
     
  • Once products are handed off to the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx), Bailey Nicole Design is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage during shipping.
     
  • For addressed envelopes: calligraphy is hand-done and may not always be machine-readable; Bailey Nicole Design is not responsible for items returned or undelivered by the carrier.
     

6. Artistic Style

  • By booking, you acknowledge that calligraphy and design are creative services. Bailey Nicole Design will use its artistic judgment to create work in the style shown in past portfolios.
     
  • Dissatisfaction with artistic style or design judgment is not grounds for a refund.
     

7. Copyright

  • All designs and products created by Bailey Nicole Design are the property of the company and are protected under U.S. Copyright law.
     
  • You are granted a personal-use license to the products created for you, but you may not copy, reproduce, or supply them to a third party without written permission.
     

8. Updates to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date.
